Letter from the President
Carmen Glaze

Hello and welcome! My name is Carmen Glaze and I am incredibly honored to introduce myself as the President of the Zeta Theta chapter of Gamma Phi Beta!
Since the beginning of my time in this sorority, Gamma Phi has shown me what it truly means to aspire to the highest type of womanhood. The term 'sorority' itself was created for Gamma Phi Beta in 1874 to describe the kind of sisterhood we exemplify, and I see that legacy every day in my chapter. The people I am blessed to call my sisters are my biggest cheerleaders, study buddies, and lifelong friends. We have the privilege of being able to live out our philanthropic focus of building strong girls not only by volunteering with and supporting our philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run, but by building each other up every day!
There aren't enough words to describe how much Gamma Phi Beta has enriched my college experience. With incredibly fun formals, sisterhood retreats, beach days and and other Greek Life events, there is never a dull moment as a Gamma Phi. It is a home away from home for so many, and it is a second family - both with my sisters at Pepperdine and with hundreds of thousands of sisters internationally!
To me, Gamma Phi is love, and it is home. I cannot begin to fathom my time at Pepperdine (or my life for that matter!) without my sisters in Gamma Phi Beta who have impacted me in such profound and positive ways. I know my fellow sisters feel the same way about this supportive, enriching, and empowering sorority that we’re proud to call our own.
Please check out our website and learn more about my amazing sisters and what makes Gamma Phi home to us!
Love in IIKE,
Carmen Glaze
