​My name is Emberlynn Witt, and I am so grateful to serve as

President of Gamma Phi Beta for 2025. Gamma Phi Beta, Zeta Theta,

was founded at Pepperdine University over 25 years ago. Our chapter is now home to a vibrant community of unique and amazing women, whose goal is to continuously inspire the highest type of womanhood at the collegiate level and beyond. The women that I have the privilege of calling my sisters have shown up in my life to be my biggest supporters, study buddies, and lifelong friends. I cannot imagine how different my college experience at Pepperdine would be without having these amazing women by my side. 

 

Joining Gamma Phi Beta at Pepperdine University has been the best decision of my college career. I’ve gained countless role models, leadership skills, and so many unforgettable experiences. Through Gamma Phi Beta's true and constant sisterhood, I was able to find the most amazing group of women whom I am proud to call my sisters. Gphi is a home away from home and a second family for me and my sisters at Pepperdine.

 

Each member of Pepperdine Gamma Phi Beta is unapologetically themselves, creating a sisterhood of authentic, strong-willed, and like-minded women who constantly strive to build each other up and make each other stronger. Gamma Phi Beta has provided a platform for so many opportunities where I can better myself and inspire young girls to reach their highest potential! When we have the privilege of interacting with our local alumnae chapter, I am reminded that this organization is there to support us long beyond our careers as undergraduates. Hosting our Senior Celebration Tea alongside our alumnae sponsors has been one of my favorite memories as President. I am truly so grateful to be surrounded by inspirational women, both in this chapter and in our greater Gamma Phi Beta community. This sisterhood truly is one for life.
